About the Journal

Journal of Innovation and Creativity Resource (JICR)  is a peer-reviewed journal concerned to publish community services activities with the purpose to empower society. The first issue of this journal published in 2021. This periodical publication receives articles in English.
JICR invites manuscripts on various topics dealing with the empowerment of society. The journal provides forums interested in performing community engagement as well as to those involved with the policy, business, and higher education.

 

Focus and Scope

JICR focuses on community empowerment as the result of community service activities. The activities are including the implementation of science development and applied technology to empower society and realize sustainable development.

The journal highlights the existing issues that happened in various fields to empower the community. The issues including, but not limited to, increasing the community capacity, applying appropriate technology, applying research results in the community, improving the people's knowledge, and also the innovation in the purpose to empower people.

This journal published periodically twice a year: April and October.

Peer-review Process

JICR received the manuscript in English. All submitted manuscripts are read by the editorial secretary. Those manuscripts evaluated by editors to be inappropriate to journal criteria are rejected promptly without external review. Manuscripts evaluated to be of potential interest to our readership are sent to peer-reviewers for the double-blind review process. The editors then make a decision based on the reviewer’s recommendation from among several possibilities: rejected, need major or minor revision, or accepted. The Editor-in-Chief of JICR has the right to decide which manuscripts submitted to the journal should be published.

Review Process: (1) Corresponding author submits the manuscript, (2) Editor Evaluation (pre-review), (3) The double-blind peer review process, (4) Editor Decision, (5) Confirmation to the corresponding author.

Publication Ethics

For the excellent quality of the manuscript, and to avoid the fault of the publication process and plagiarism in the accepted procedure, the editorial board approved the ethics of scientific publications. The ethical rules of this publication apply to authors, editors, reviewers, and journal managers. The ethics of the publication is based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Screening for Plagiarism

The submitted manuscript would be checked for plagiarism twice using Turnitin (similarity check program) before sending it to the peer-review process and before the production process to prevent any publication fraud. We do not process and publish any plagiarised contents.

Open Access Policy

JICR provides fully open access to each published text. Which means that all articles are available on the internet to all readers immediately upon publication. Distribution in any medium is permitted, provided the author and the journal are properly credited. This policy is based on the principle that the results of work are freely available to the public and editors support the dissemination and exchange of global knowledge.

Digital Archiving

This journal utilizes the GARUDA by Kementerian Riset Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi Republik Indonesia to create a distributed archiving system and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

Publication Charges

The author(s) is charged IDR 1,000,000 for article proccessing charge (APC).
